Haryana General Election 2014

There are ten Lok Sabha constituencies in Haryana. Out of them Sirsa and Ambala are reserved for the scheduled caste. The size of the electorates in Haryana is 1.55 crore, that includes 71 lakh women.

Here the BJP and Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) are in alliance. The BJP is contesting eight seats leaving Hisar and Karnal for the HJC. The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and BSP are in alliance.

It is a tough battle ahead for the Congress in Haryana. The party is facing strong anti-incumbency in the State. The Congress has fielded candidates on all 10 seats. The Aam Aadmi party is contesting all the 10 seats in Haryana and has nothing to lose in the upcoming elections.

Out of 10 seats in Haryana NDA is headed to get about 7 seats and the UPA will get only 3. That is as per the NDTV Poll.
