Jammu Kashmir General Election 2014

There are six Lok Sabha constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir. Ladakh is the only constituency reserved for the Schedule Tribe. The general election of 2014 will be conducted in the state in five phases.

The total number of electorate in Jammu and Kashmir is 6,933,118, out of which 3,657,764 are male and 3,275,354 are female voters.

Parties active in J&K are Indian National Congress (INC), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), Jammu and Kashmir People's Democratic Party (JKPDP), All Jammu and Kashmir Patriotic Peoples Front, Democratic Janata Dal (Jammu and Kashmir), Jamaat-e-Islami Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party, Mallah Insaf Party and the Praja Parishad Jammu and Kashmir.
