There are 21 Lok Sabha constituencies in Odisha. There are three constituencies reserved for Schedule castes and five constituencies that are reserved for Schedule Tribe. The constituencies reserved for SCs are; Bhadrak, Jajpur and Jagatsinghpur. The constituencies that are reserved for STs are; Mayurbhanj Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Nabarangpur and Koraput.
The total number of voters in Odisha is 2,88,80,803, among which 1,50,38,356 are male and 1,38,41,339 are female.
The dates for the 2014 Lok Sabha election in Orissa are 10 April and 17 April.
Opinion poll by the Times Now C-Voter in February says BJD will win 12 seats, the INC 7 seats, and the BJP 2 seats.
According to the ABP NEWS Nielsen February opinion poll, the BJD will win 16 seats, the INC 2 seats, the BJP 2 seats and others 1 seat.
