Bodoland People's Front

The Bodoland People's Front, briefly known as (BPF) is a state political party in Assam state in north eastern India. Sansuma Khunggur Bwiswmuthiary, prominent candidate of party was elected to the 15thLok Sabha from Kokrajhar constituency in the general election, 2009.

Biswajit Daimary of this party was elected to the Rajya Sabha in May, 2008. BPF had 10 members in the 12th Assam Legislative Assembly, and it is a part of the present Indian National Congress led ruling coalition in Assam.

In the 2011 Assam Assembly election, BPF won 12 seats. Party symbol is Tri-colour with 3:2 size and having same significance as follows and Nangal in the middle of white colour.. ...

The Bodoland People's Front, briefly known as (BPF) is a state political party in Assam state in north eastern India. Bodoland Peoples Front party has great ideology to bear true faith and loyalty to the constitution of India as established by law and to the principles of democracy, socialism and secularism as preserve in the Indian Constitution, and also seriously fulfil promise to work for maintaining the independence, unity and integrity of India and also international understanding and highlight on the development of scientific temper, providing social justice to all people and specially to women, children, old, physically challenged, weaker sections of the society, support of education, safe guarding of cultural heritages of all in order to bring overall development of all sections of people of Bodoland as well as Assam.

Party's prime objective is to work for the independence and integrity of the country based on democracy, socialism and secularism, to contribute services for the political rights, economic development and social justice to all. Party is committed to make Bodoland a model and self-sufficient by influencing the state Govt. of Assam and the Govt. of India to explore the plentiful natural resources like water, forest, minerals and human resources. Party works to free nationalism from the prejudices of castes, religions and languages to stand by the principles of co-operation, trust, tolerance, fraternity and co-existence. The major aim of the party is to influence the Govt. of Assam, the Govt. of India and the national and international financial and industrial institutions to utilize their capacities to invest for the all-round economic development of Bodoland. Its objective is to bring reforms in the field of education to suit present conditions.Bodoland Peoples Front party has planned to implement the Bodo Accord signed by B.L.T., Assam Govt. and the Govt. of India in letter as soon as possible with co-operations from all concerned.

Party is dedicated to eradicate poverty and work for the enhancement of the browbeaten people living in Bodoland and Assam as a whole. It is working hard for strengthening the Indian Nationalism providing due respect to the identities of all sections of people.
